Lateral Canal Projects

Halme Construction has reconstructed miles of lateral canals by shaping and lining existing canals with geomembrane liner and concrete on multiple contracts. Due to the short construction window between winter and irrigation season, fast paced construction scheduling is required.

Panel Replacement Projects

Halme Construction has constructed on multiple contracts, large-scale concrete panel replacement projects within the large main and west canals serving the Columbia Basin Irrigation Project with water from the Grand Coulee Dam. These projects involve grading and concrete paving on 1.5 to 1 slopes. This project required short construction window between winter and irrigation season, as well as the challenging working conditions. Halme Construction used mechanized systems to meet this challenges.
